Brussel sprouts with mushrooms

About the Recipe

Mushrooms and Brussels sprouts are two vegetables that are high in nutrients and flavor. Both of these vegetables are low in calories, making them a great addition to any diet. Brussels sprouts are packed with fiber, vitamins, and minerals, while mushrooms are a good source of protein, potassium, and selenium.
When it comes to cooking these vegetables, there are endless possibilities.

Ingredients

  • 28 oz./ 3,5 cup of Brussel sprouts

  • 8 oz./ 1 cup Baby Bella mushroom (227g)

  • 1 tbsp of olive oil- I like to use a flavored oil like srirach oil but you can used a regular one as well

  • Salt/ pepper

Preparation

Step 1


Preheat the oven to 425F (220 C).

Peel and cut in halves Brussel sprouts.


Step 2


Wash the mushrooms and cut them in halves.


Step 3


On a baking sheet, with aluminum or baking silicone sheet spread out the cut vegetables. Sprinkle everything with oil, add salt and pepper and mix everything.


Step 4


Bake for 20- 25 min, until the Brussel will get softer and get some brown color.


Smacznego! You can serve them with pork loin with caraway seeds
